My developed bond with Coach Carrie as a person is the reason why I continued rowing. She helped me set up mental health resources and provided support during very difficult times when my battles went beyond rowing and athletics. She made rowing a home for me and I will forever be grateful to her. If you are looking for an understanding coach who has the ability to see you beyond your erg scores, she’s the coach for you.
