I will forever be grateful for my experience with Kansas Rowing and that is due in huge part to Coach Carrie. Coach Carrie truly cares about each one of her athletes as individuals and takes the time to get to know you. Coach Carrie has been there for me many times throughout my rowing career as I struggled with what was happening not only within my athletic career but any issues I was experiencing outside of rowing. She is truly organized and makes sure the program runs smoothly and efficiently. She does so much for our team behind the scenes that the athletes don't see and is truly under appreciated. She works nonstop to further our program and truly wants the best for the program not just because it is her job, but because she loves this school and loves the athletes. I can't even begin to count the amount of times that Coach Carrie said to me, "I want it so bad for you." She wants us to win and do well because she cares and loves each one of us. One of the best coaches and people I have ever had the honor of knowing.
