Coach Toshack, although holding a high level of coaching experience, does not get the most out of his players. Poor communicating and receptivity of constructive criticism inhibits fair and honest conversations with players and assistant coaching staff. Very hard to break into the playing group that coach Toshack seems to decide well before the season even starts. Training sessions are segregated between players that will play and players that will not play in the match that upcoming weekend. This style of training sessions are demoralizing for players not included in the “non-playing” group which in turn restricts their ability to show off their best attributes. Individual and team meetings with the coach are relatively surface level and dishonest.
