Told players “C’s get degrees” and expects sport to be priority over academics. Gossips with players about other players (players tell each other what was said). Consequences depend on who you are, starter vs. nonstarter, rules apply to some, not others. Negative feedback, injuries dismissed as a hindrance to team, players are intimidated. Character means nothing, coach is aware of underage drinking, probably not aware of the marijuana users. Toxic environment overall. Many players quit/transfer.
