Poor Communication
Phil is very difficult to communicate with. It is very hard to understand where his head is at, making communication very nerve racking. His decisions do not have much reason leaving many athletes confused. For example, getting rid of the dive coach. The dive coach was beloved by the swimmers and divers and was fired randomly for no reasons that have been disclosed to the team. His meets are disorganized and he is generally disliked by the team. The team would benefit from a new swim coach as he has done a terrible job creating a positive team atmosphere.
