Chas has been there for me through so much. He was such an important coach in my college career. He believed in me, he pushed me to be better, and he looked out for our entire team. He truly cared about us outside of running and so many people never take that chance to. He is passionate about what he does and he knows how to coach people to not only be better runners but better people. There were so many times in my career that I contemplated moving on from running or going somewhere else and Chas was the one person who made me want to stay. He has always had my back and I know so many women and men I ran with feel the same. Chas is what the running world needs. We need more people who care and more people to advocate for athletes and he did all of this and more. He made my college running experience better and I cannot thank him enough!
