My student had the opportunity to be coached by Chas, and she had such a positive experience! He is dedicated, knowledgeable, caring, and creates a team environment that fosters inclusion and belonging. He makes the hard work of running and training fun and celebrates each athlete as they develop. He also values each team member as a human being, which is so refreshing in the increasingly high pressure environment of college athletics. My student ran well when coached by Chas, and truly loved being a part of his team. I’ll add that as a former collegiate coach myself, Chas is doing everything right. Any runner would be lucky to be on a team he coaches.
