Coach Del came along my sophomore year after I had experienced a freshman year of no heighting in the pole vault and helped me become a better jumper, teammate, and leader. Track and field is a tough sport mentally and i can count on coach Del to get me into a better headspace, ready to compete to the best of my ability. Very motivating but also understanding, and someone I credit much of my success on the runway to.
