After playing under juan for a year… i quickly decided to transfer. Juan is disorganized and DEFINITELY plays favorites. He is beyond unorganized and if you are not one of his favorites then you will not be playing. He is not fair and can feed into gossip and create it. He lets specific players get away with certain actions while punishing other plays for the same actions. There is simply no winning with juan. He has a tendency to lie and manipulate players. He see’s no wrong in what he does and refuses to take accountability for his actions. He creates a toxic environment and pits players against players. He does not have appropriate coach-player relationships and often times talks poorly about players to other players. The team culture is very toxic and mentally draining. After playing under my current coach I now understand that his actions and the way he speaks about players is not appropriate and it does not create a good environment for his players.
