Coach Kerry Smith has successfully ruined the sport of swimming for me. Not only is she disrespectful to her athletes, she does not care about academics, athlete mental health, team mentality, positivity, or the values that LaSalle represents as a community. She fakes caring, she will fool you with the tricks, lies, and the pre-written speeches. Nothing Kerry could do or say could redeem the way in which she destroyed my collegiate D1 swimming experience. To add to this, when she was confronted about it, she gaslight myself, my family, and the athletic dept.
