I appreciated that Molly tried to get the girls to develop as a team off the field, finding opportunities for them to gather without the coaches. She encouraged and set an example of service by leading the girls to the Frederick Rescue Mission and other activities. Her desire for them to travel together is a good idea. I did not feel she developed the girls as well on the field. She also tended to favor those whom she recruited and left those recruited by the outgoing coach to advocate for themselves for playing time, when in fact, they should have been given opportunities without having to justify their position on the team first.
