An incredible man. Builds on his prior years and learns. He sees each athlete as a person and goes above and beyond to make them feel seen. He will always have time for you if you have a problem even if it’s not related to rowing. He could be most honest and harsh sometimes with his coaching. He does make a fantastic training plan that will work you hard though. He is able to get the best out of everyone. Takes culture extremely seriously in a good way and is always looking for ways and wanting to receive feedback on how we can cultivate and even better program and team. He is the only person I would want running this program and is the most incredible coach I have worked with. I am beyond pleased that I got to come to Syracuse and work as an athlete under him.
