The most knowledgable coach I've had the privilege of learning from in my 10 years of rowing. He knows the sport very well--everything from current events in the rowing community to detailed biomechanics and the use of technology. He is clearly communicates what he wants to see and how he wants you to achieve it. Definitely a "say it like it is" type of guy so if you're easily offended, well...don't be.
