She was easily the worst coach I’ve ever had. She ruined college hockey for me. She would make us weigh ourselves in front of the whole team and then make fun of us if we were overweight. She also made us make her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches after each practice and we would have to go take turns making them for her. She took away any passion and confidence I had from hockey and made me hate the game I grew up loving. She was eventually fired from the school I went to but the damage was done even after she left. Would not recommend Maria Lewis to any one. She shouldn’t be allowed to coach in my opinion.
