My experience playing under Warshaw was extremely frustrating due to the fact that he simply does not coach. I do not believe I have bettered in any way as a player during my time at CSUN, and he focuses more on having us do swim sets than working on actual water polo. There is little structure, and perhaps the most frustrating thing about it all is the fact that there is so much wasted talent on the team. Favoritism is rampant, and swim set times determine your playing time, not your actual abilities as a water polo player. He is not a bad person, he is a caring and compassionate person when it comes to his players, so come too CSUN if you’re in the mood for a chill, most likely disappointing, collegiate career.
