Loved her at first because I thought she cared. She is very religious and pushes that on the team. The reality is that she is not a strong coach and doesn’t offer any constructive feedback to help you improve. It’s weird who is chosen for nationals because some dancers with good technique were not included in favor of dancers that are “favorites”. She lets the older dancers bully the new dancers. And bullies are given “leadership” awards. There is huge turnover year after year. Before you try out look at how many people choose not to return every year. There is a reason.
