Sinnott was the freshman coach when I was at NCC. He was caring, cultivated an identity amongst the freshman, instilled the standard for excellence that NCC has for its XC/TF teams, and created a foundation for our group to build success on. While Al is the greatest coach of all time and there is no "replacing" him, Sinnott taking the helm for Al maintains the cultural foundation that Al spent 50+ years building while still allowing Sinnott to coach the current team in his own way. I have only been impressed with the testimonies from his current athletes and I am so proud of the direction that the program is going. Happy to be an alumni and to have had the opportunity to work with two amazing great coaches in Al and Sinnott!
