Kylar Ferguson is the worst coach I have ever played for. She shows blatant favoritism for players that don’t deserve it and pins players against each other. She is knowledgeable about the sport but this is over shadowed by her childish behavior and selfish actions. She doesn’t care for her players only the image that is portrayed. Ferg does not follow the values she sets for the team and therefore creates an environment that is toxic. The way she talks to players is completely unacceptable and doesn’t build you up but tears you down. I have heard from many players (myself included) that they have lost confidence in their playing ability due to Fergs comments. When players ask her questions she is condescending and makes you feel stupid for even asking. She acts like she is available to talk to but no one feels comfortable or like she would help them if they went to her. When asking about your standing on the team she lies and feeds you nonsense to keep you around. I know that many players are excited that she is leaving Longwood and many players left due to her presence. I would never recommend anyone to play for her.
