This coach will tell you what you want to hear while recruiting you as a player. Then when you show up as a player he acts like he has no idea who you are. He has his favorite 11 players and could care less about developing anyone other than those players. He even separates them out in practice and works only with them- calling on the lesser players only when he needs someone to scrimmage against the "top 11". I have witnessed two "senior banquets" where many of the graduating seniors spoke to how they never got to play, was never even given a chance on the field. He has no idea who the "other 22" players are on the team- what their majors are, who they live with, what their family situation is- nothing. In all of my years playing soccer, I have experienced both amazing and horrible coaches. Coach Wagner is by far the worst because not only is he a horrible coach, he is just not a nice person who does not care about his players.
