The team at UCSD deserves better than a coach who relies on borrowed credibility and superficial solutions. They deserve a leader who has experience in taking the ownership of their own successes and failures, someone who recognizes the distinct challenges of collegiate athletics as opposed where the coach is from the sheltered environments such as private club. The university setting demands integrity, strategy, and most importantly, a commitment to the athletes' well-being above all else.
