Steve has not only made me a better player, but a better person as well. His love for the game is obvious for how much time and effort he puts into coaching, and his passion for his players is evident for the amount of time he makes himself available to work and talk with them. Steve is not only an amazing mentor but a master strategist. His knowledge of the game and experience as both a coach and player make him crafty, creative, and effective in setting his team up for the best chance of success. If you give Steve the time to know you, he will change you for the better. He remembers every name and face, and he makes everyone he interacts with feel special and important. Any one of his alumni will tell you how influential and meaninglful he was to them throughout their college career.
