Coach Flores has done amazing things with the VCU women's lacrosse program. She is tough, but caring, knowledgeable and fair. As a parent of a student athlete, I can't think of a better person to help my daughter learn about sportsmanship, leadership, and team culture. She has had a tough road, with the majority of players on her team recruited by the former coach, and some had an allegiance to the way things were done in the past. Coach Flores has tried to initiate a winning mentality and you can see the success and growth mindset already with her new recruits. I couldn't ask for a better role model for my daughter and we are both looking forward to next year's lacrosse season! Go Rams!
