body shames, belittles, pins athletes against each other, and plays favorites. only competes the athletes that she favors. forced athletes to do rigorous conditioning for hours and would not let them practice the sport they were recruited for if they were “out of shape” by her standards. forced team members to sell t shirts while the rest of the team was competing during home meets. if we even suggested transferring, she would make sure to let us know “nobody would want to deal with [us]”. handled mental health extremely poorly. prioritizes optics over the wellbeing of her athletes. encouraged team members to share only positive experiences with recruits. ruined the love of the sport for me and several of my teammates.
