Nicole Voci is a manipulative and selfish person. She took over a recently ranked top 25 program looking to go to the NCAA tournament in their third year as a program. She took an extremely promising team and turned it into a joke. The players on the field are clearly her favorites, you can see it in practice as well. She refuses to change anything during a game resulting in embarrassing loses or almost loses. Voci has no respect for her fellow coaching staff besides her father who seems to be running the show. This school made the biggest mistake hiring her instead of the more qualified coaches that applied. I believe she was hired because the school can pay her less than any other coach that applied. Her inexperience and immaturity showed through the season. Having as many players out with injuries, most didn’t return to play the whole year, something was wrong. She treated the injured players like they did not exist. She made them sign a contract when no one else on the team had to singling out those who were injured. She cut many injured players money as they were not what she was looking for in the team. She also cut players because their mental health was “too bad” and negatively affecting the team. This was not what she was looking for in players. She has ruined the sport for so many and the team will only get worse from here on.
