Despite an outward charm and kindness, as a coach he sought out to tear down the team and turn players against each other. Additionally he made several extremely racist remarks and lacked any accountability for his actions. He was inappropriate with players that he deemed his favorites - drinking with them, not holding them to the same rules as other players and blatantly showing his favoritism (especially for players whose parents got him extra benefits). He was often disrespectful to his own staff as well in front of players. Overall, he was extremely inconsistent and emotionally abusive.
