Had high hopes for coach Jon with his division 1 background. Trusting him with my daughter’s career turned out to be the biggest mistake I could have made. He was in over his head as a head coach and couldn’t even field a team in his one and only year as a Jet. He didn’t come close to filling Jamie Vandenburgh‘s shoes. She left the program in a great place and accomplished so much in her tenure. Coach Jon completely erased and ruined all the momentum and success of the program. Completely crazy he was offered another position with the way he dismantled this team and players. HUGE red flags when you’ve coached at 4 different schools in 4 years. I wish I would have trusted my gut when I first met him as he is seemingly odd and awkward and not someone I should have wanted around my 18 year old daughter.
