Since Coach Kara took over our Impact team this summer, the growth in this team has been unreal. We had not had a lot of wins in previous years and the energy was low. Most players were not on the same page. This weekend we especially took notice while in Pennsylvania for our first fall tournament winning all of our games. The girls are playing with so much more confidence and energy you can just see how much fun they’re having out there. The chemistry they have is fun to watch and that has been a big work in progress. Their stick work, shooting and on field connections have come such a long way, and they have been playing with FIRE. You can see how much she cares for the girls and takes the time to speak with them individually. She’s put a ton of work in this summer and fall and makes sure each player knows their role and feels important and is consistent which is not always high on a coaches list. It’s been so great watching them play and really believe in themselves again! We are happy to have such a great coach with us.
