Coach Dopek is one of DePaul’s most experienced coaches, deeply rooted in the program’s history as a former sprinter. Under his leadership, the Blue Demons have achieved some excellent team performances and school records across events, showing steady progress and program growth. Coach Dopek is known for strong relationships with athletes and fostering personal development. Feedback from student-athletes we heard highlights his investment in sprint and hurdle talent and his commitment to representing the program well in the Big East.
