Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering this softball program to think twice before committing. The culture within the team felt deeply unhealthy, and many of the issues seemed rooted in both the team leadership and the head coach. Negative, toxic, and at times cruel behavior was allowed to continue without meaningful accountability, which created an environment that did not feel supportive or safe for players. A program’s culture starts at the top, and in my experience, the standards being set did not promote respect, growth, or team unity. For anyone looking for a positive and healthy college softball experience, I would strongly recommend exploring other options.
