In my experience, the situation felt very personal and extremely disappointing. Decisions seemed to come more from a place of ego and entitlement rather than fairness or genuine concern for the players. Because of this, a teammate ended up being removed from the team in a way that felt unnecessary and poorly handled. Instead of demonstrating leadership, understanding, and professionalism, the situation reflected a lack of judgment and maturity. Coaches play an important role in shaping young athletes’ experiences, and unfortunately this experience showed a clear lack of the guidance and responsibility that players deserve.
