I’ve seen the negative comments here about Gina and my first thought is they’re soft and a bit entitled (especially those who hire recruiters to help them with their college recruiting). Gina has surrounded herself with great coaches and players. The university has failed her in the way they treat lacrosse- it’s just a way to help balance title IX to the ADept! SOOO many things that happened just in 2026 that showed the true colors of Football and ADept! That’s unfortunate! Gina is a Mom so it naturally makes her a real life coach and many spoiled little princesses won’t like that! But if you work hard and are a dedicated teammate with great stick skills and confidence you will be just fine. If you are looking for a D1 team just to tell all your HS friends you are going D1 you are in for a rude awakening ! That is not a glamorous title like a pageant queen, it comes with a mentally tough mindset and body that is ready to work hard! Gina will prepare you for the field and life with the desire to win as a coach and a wish for each of her girls to be successful after lacrosse; she can’t help it, it’s the Mom in her and that matters! I would recommend Gina over and over again. I hope the university does a reassessment to see the decisions they’ve made are the reason parents encouraged their girls to enter the portal.
