Some coaches aren't people you necessarily like, but you respect them because they're excellent coaches who consistently produce winning results. Other coaches may not have the best record, but you still want to play for them because they genuinely care about you as a person, not just as an athlete, and they're enjoyable to be around. Coach Neubinski had neither of those qualities. I didn't feel supported as a person, and I also didn't have confidence in her coaching or the direction of the program. That combination made it a difficult environment to be part of.
