Coach Al is one of the best coaches I have ever had. She cares a lot about her players and wants them to succeed on and off the field. She is a great coach and is very passionate about her job.

Coach Al is the type of person to stay late after practice simply to talk about how your day went. Coach Al wanted what was best for you both as an athlete and as a person. I can’t even count the number of extra reps should would hit to me on late nights after long practices. She was the best motivator and would still be willing to help out in my life if I ever needed her. She is strong willed, and will advocate for the better good of the athletes. Overall, Coach Al 100% positively impacted my experience playing at IW

There are very few coaches in this world that can truly say they want the very best for their players as PEOPLE before the athlete. Coach Al did so much for me, was a shoulder to cry on, made me laugh, and made it a point to tell her players she loved them, just cus (and she meant it, too). When you have a coach that cares for you as a person first, the on-field confidence that gives you when you know your coach believes in you is something special. I had the best two seasons of my life under my coaching staff at Iowa Western that she was a part of, and i can confidently say she helped change my life. Lots of love for you, coach AL. -the 2

Coach Al is caring, motivating, knowledgeable, driven, I could go on and on. She made the worst experience so much better for many players at Iowa Western. The players loved her and she let them Know how much she cared about them under a very difficult coach. Any player that has the opportunity to play for her is blessed.

One of the best coaches I've had in my entire career. Very good motivator, intentional, and caring about you as a player. Knows when to give grace and when to get after you during practices and games. Very lucky to have been coached by her.
