A great knowledgeable coach from university to Olympic experience. He knows just about everything there is to know about pole vault and the process behind it. University of Arkansas is a track program known for championships. This making it an intense and historic program to be a part of. You have to be able to handle tough workouts, competition, and criticism. If you can do that you will be successful together.

His coaching style is something the athlete has to adapt to, he will not change his ways. Can be stern and is not always the best at communication. He is definition of tough love, he cares about athletes but doesn't like showing it and is harder on athletes he sees the most in.
