Fran came in and made an immediate impression on our team. He made it clear he was going to make some changes and he let us know that by defining goals for the team each year. He knew it would be a process to turn the program around but he truly belived we could do it. Fran was far more than just a coach, he was a friend, he was a leader, and he was a role model. There is no doubting Fran's ability to coach and his knowledge of the game. However, he lacks emotional intelligence and is a poor communicator. He is spineless and acts like he cares, but he doesn't. He treats his assistants poorly. There is a reason the churn is so high.
