Solid coach who has developed some solid talent in the past year. Not a very winning program as of late, but keeps his players together. Solid recruiter.

John is an excellent person and coach. He has a passion of coaching baseball and building relationships with his players. He has been a part of the Gopher Baseball program for 35 plus years, meaning he has dealt and seen everything possible when it comes to baseball, recruiting, coaching and anything else you could think of. Great guy to get to know, wants each player to succeed not only on the field, but in the classroom and so on.
