DisorganizedOld School MentalityPoor CommunicationI am a former swimmer of Sergio and did not enjoy my time swimming under him. There was a double standard for the international athletes and Americans and he would not keep his word in regards to meet lineups, roster spots, or scholarship allocation. Sergio is a liar and shameful man.

Old School MentalityPoor CommunicationSergio is a disappointment to most on the team. He once was a great coach I imagine, but now he just doesn’t care and acts like he doesn’t even want to be on the poor deck. Sergio and the rest of the coaching staff are some of the most closed-minded people I have ever met. They will not work with you to achieve your goals unless they align with their own goals.

AccessibleCoolDirectIntenseSergio is the coach that will push your limits every single day. He is friendly in and out of the pool! When there is work that is needed to put in the pool (aka hard practices), he is intense and will make you better. I can be honest with him and have build a great relationship. He can ready different people and see what he can do to help them.
