Most unprofessional coach. The way he talks to his players in awful. Has had girls vote for eachother who would be in a starting line up and if you didn’t get any votes you weren’t it was extremely humbling. Treats his players like prizes and creates an extremely toxic environment all around. Has had 11 girls transfer in one year alone.

Very unapproachable and hard to talk to. Playing for her was a horrible experience. She just has a really hostile vibe about her.

She was easily the worst coach I’ve ever had. She ruined college hockey for me. She would make us weigh ourselves in front of the whole team and then make fun of us if we were overweight. She also made us make her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches after each practice and we would have to go take turns making them for her. She took away any passion and confidence I had from hockey and made me hate the game I grew up loving. She was eventually fired from the school I went to but the damage was done even after she left. Would not recommend Maria Lewis to any one. She shouldn’t be allowed to coach in my opinion.

- Would show up to practice 30 minutes late every day for a whole season. - had obvious favorites that would not follow the same rules and regulations as the rest of the team - very unorganized and never showed up with a plan for practice; lots of dead time
