    Poor Communication

Take a look at the turnover since he became Head Coach - this should tell you everything you need to know. Almost 90% of players he brought in don't return. He lies to players. Cannot provide honest feedback. Team culture is non-existent since former Head Coach, Ryan Osborne left. Coach Solomon thinks players of color and international players should be given preferential treatment over US players even when have been consistently out performed at practices, scrimmages and games. He has made numerous and repeated discriminatory and prejudicial statements towards white players. He does no significant vetting of player performance. He throws scholarship money to international and players of color without proving themselves, only for them to end up sitting on the bench on the 2nd team rooster. He brings in 30+ players annually and just sees what sticks to the wall. Why do you need a rooster of almost 50-60 players? Even with a 1st & 2nd team there is no reason to carry this many players.

    Positive PersonRespectful To Players

Coach Altizer is a nice person and very respectful to players but he does beat around the bush and will string along certain players rather than being honest with them about their roles. He has never played a snap of football in his life as he has told us. He has little knowledge on technique at the corner position specifically and not much for safeties either. He is not a coach who can really develop players because he either hardly corrects or just fails to notice certain technical errors. Therefore young players aren’t learning very much about the intricate details of either corner or safety. Overall he has a low standard in his defensive back room which will make it hard to succeed and grow if you didn’t already have prior knowledge or are getting developed from a source outside of your defensive back room. He is not currently fit to coach and lead a position group at the division 1 level or any program with a winning culture, maybe a lower level as a last minute scramble hire. Would recommend more years as a GA or assistant to increase football knowledge if at a higher level.
