I walked on to the team late in college, but having Annick as a coach made me wish I had joined much earlier. It didn't matter that I had never ran before, she showed that she believed in my and cared about my success as much as the fastest girls on the team. The team culture she's created made it so that I blended with the team and was able to make friends quickly.
